Sometimes it can take a lot to find anything on the so called search engines. I’ve had times when i was searching for a part of a project or just for a picture or video for fun, and it took me hours to find what i needed. I had to search under diffterent wording, look through thousands of websites. In my opinion, they need to make these search engines more reliable.

On another note, I’ve been haning out on Facebook a lot recently. Through it I have been re-connecting with old friends and some people that I haven’t talked to for years. And what makes the website even better is the fact that it has games on it to help pass the time if I am bored or just need to do something while I think. It seems like I never have time to go out and do anything though. The only place I can talk to my friends at is on the Internet or over the phone. I hate having no time to spend with friends. It has made my life boring, so now I just go on Facebook to talk to my friends. It sucks as well because I’m usually a person that prefers to talk to people face to face.

I even go on myspace.com on to talk to people that I have only heard of. One of my myspace friends, for example, is a person that I met through my cousin. Granted, she is a cool person and I am glad that I met her. But is that how my life will be now? Well I just be meeting and talking to friends on myspace or facebook? I hope not.

Ok, well i’m bored again. Big surprise right? Well nowadays if you need some entertainment all you have to do is go onto youtube.com or some other sort of video site and type in what you want to watch. You can even find whole episodes of your favorite shows on the internet or can download movies. YouTube is one of the best sites to go to however. On YouTube you can find anything you want to watch. If you want comedy, there are plenty of funny videos, if you want action, there are action flicks, there are even movies and flicks for people who like other types of entertainment. All of this and more is just a click away and can be found both for free and for good deals that are only a couple of bucks a month to see all the vids you want. TV is one of the last centuries greatest inventions, something for people to watch and enjoy. Another one of those great invention s is the Internet, an infinite thing made up of thousands of websites with every kind of purpose albeit most of those serve no good purpose as far as I can see. So if you ever find yourself in need of some kind of entertainment just log onto the internet on some website like YouTube and just enter in what you wish to see. Or play a video game on the internet, for there are plenty of online games. Or buy a dog, that will keep you entertained for a long time.

I’m Bored

Life just seems to be boring now days. All I ever do anymore is work, go to school, and do homework. I only have about an hour and a half most days to do the stuff I used to like playing video games and having fun. Instead I spend several hours of my time on the internet doing assaingments that do not seem to be interesting. Even as I sit here now at quarter past midnight doing my homework instead of sleeping. Yes blogs are a good way to let people know what you are thinking but if they have to be limited to the internet there isnt much to talk about. Pretty much all you have to talk about is the newest information that you have been forced to read up on in some long and boring paper on it that holds no entertainment value what so ever. I could find more amusement in giving myself paper cuts and then dripping lemon juice in it for a few seconds of pain. Hell, I could have more fun cutting myself with my tanto, an 8 inch blade that is slightly curved and sharp only on one side, and seeing how much it hurts and how much it pain it causes and study the effects from the loss of blood over time. About the only interesting fact about the internet is that all of the gaming parts and the informational parts only make up about ten percent of the internet over all. The rest of it is made up with the darker side of human nature.

Jackass, in my opinion, is one of the best shows ever to air on television. In this show, a group of idiotic friends do stupid stunts that usually fail all in the name of humor and thinking that it would be cool. In some episodes the cops get involved, like in one stunt they tried to cross a small creek on a little piece of crap bike. In the end of the scene the police are seen asking them to submit to a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer test to make sure that they are not a bunch of drunk idiots. They might as well be though, they are so stupid. In another episode Steve-O even tried to snort an earthworm, unfortunately he was successful. Then they proceeded to do “human bowling” using the fat guy of their group. They have been so popular that they have even made two official movies and had a third one because they made so much footage for the second one! In the first movie they did things such as giving themselves paper cuts on certain areas of their bodies and eating a piss snow cone. In the second movie they pretended to be old people, forgot their infant “children” on the roof of their cars, and wind tunnel hijinks. I have to say, if you havent seen this show, go out and rent a few seasons of it at your local movie rental place and watch the hilarious things these guys get up to. Television, something that almost every person in the United States watches at least once a day. I myself watch t.v. at least two or more hours a day. I also have a couple of different weekly shows that I follow. During the summer a new show called Warehouse 13 aired on the SyFy channel. This show centers around two Secret Service agents who are transferred to a super secret warehouse that stores objects that have special properties. One of these objects is a pen that was used by Edgar Allen Poe. In the episode the pen causes a young man to start taking revenge on people who have wronged him and even to try and kill his professor when he tries to help the young man. I saw every episode in the first season of this show except for the season finale, work sucks sometimes, and I enjoyed it a lot. A new show that has just started is Stargate Universe. It’s a show thats based off of the orignal show called SG-1. In the show a scientist is trying to dial a stargate address that leads to a ship that is traveling through the galaxies in the universe studying them and dropping off stargates on planets that can support life.

One show that I watch almost every nite, however, is George Lopez. George Lopez is a show that was created by the comedian George Lopez and he even plays his own part in the show. I have to say that it is hilarious and I suggest that anyone who wants a good laugh should watch this show. And watch lots of t.v. because its awesome.

First Blog

Welcome to my site. This is my first blog so it might suck but oh well. I’ve heard quite a bit about blogging and I know that it has gotten quite popular in the last half decade. I learned quite a bit about it in readings for class and I’ve heard of it before on T.V. during the Twix commercials, that guy had a good save too. So anyway, time to start blogging.

Okay so lately I’ve been reading a book written by Anne Rice who is well known for her Vampire Chronicles books. The book I am currently reading is the first in the series, Interview With The Vampire. For those of you that have read this book, you know what it contains, but for those of you who don’t, here is a basic overview. The story takes place in a hotel room. A young man is there to interview someone who claims that he is a “vampire” so that he can air the interview on the radio. When the young man sits down he notices that the “vampire” may just be real. The story that the vampire tells of his life takes place over several decades.

Eventually the young man will find out just what the man he is interviewing actually is. For those people who enjoy vampire books and like stories that don’t carry many of the typical stories surrounding vampires, this is a book for you. I also suggest that you read the entire series because it gives you a good insight into the vampire world that Anne Rice has created, and will let you know the entire back story, like how the vampires came to be and why they are weak to only the light.
